USEBIO 1.2, released in July 2015, is a minor update to USEBIO 1.1. It contains a selection of optional additions to the specification, such as prizes, qualification and more definition on the scoring method. It remains backwards compatible with USEBIO 1.1 - any valid 1.1 file will be valid 1.2 simply by changing the version declaration. Software used by NBOs and other major tournaments will find it useful to upgrade; software dealing primarily with club bridge can likely skip this version.
